McCuen Construction Inc. is an established and growing Northern California based General Engineering Construction company looking for qualified and skilled site Superintendent to tackle the work load we have on the books and beyond. Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience supervising Commercial Construction
  • Experience in working with the DSA and Public Works is mandatory
  • Understanding of construction techniques, drawings and specifications
  • Ability to plan, coordinate and supervise job site functions (scheduling, material control, equipment requirements, manpower requirements)
  • Ability to maintain mutual respect with company employees, customers and subcontractors
  • Ability to facilitate safety meetings and maintain a safe work environment
  • Ability to inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship and materials conform to specifications
  • Proficiency in the utilization of a PC, Office, MS Project or other, cell phone and email
  • Manage all operations, utilizing crews, equipment, plans, survey stakes, laser and GPS as necessary
  • Maintain daily job reports, weekly schedules, resource scheduling and communication
  • Maintain as-built drawings
  • Conduct daily relevant safety tailgate meetings
  • Enforce safety rules, including PPE, public protection, and site protection
  • Valid drivers license and clean MVR
