Westcal Management is hiring! Are you an awesome Lease Closer?  We're seeking a talented Apartment Leasing Professional for the Pittsburg CA area.  Beautiful, large complex with over 200+ units.  Full time status, great hourly pay that is paired with generous company sponsored benefits!

This position is responsible for coordinating the apartment community's marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. Perform daily tasks and responsibilities from leasing to new residents support.  Provide resident satisfaction surveys within the term of lease and secure resident lease renewals.

Meet and greet tenant prospects, give tours while determining housing needs and preferences---close leads
Prepare and assist new residents with all leasing paperwork to include but not limited to lease move-in packets, applications, lease agreements and employment and appropriate credit checks
Collect security deposits, rent and any other charges associated with residential moves
Communicate all lease and community policies to new and current residents
Follow up with all leads and prospects as ongoing marketing
Ensure units (apartment homes) are move-in ready by inspecting and adding last minute touches as applicable
Create ongoing marketing strategies
Manage full cycle lease renewal process
Respond timely to all calls, emails and site visits

Large unit apartment home leasing experience is highly preferred; however, successful candidates may have a background in real estate, retail, sales, leasing, hospitality, or customer service with the ability to engage with different personalities and close sales/leads. 

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have strong marketing, creativity skills
Must have strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, and ability to use computer
Prefer experience with MRI or Yardi ERP systems
Experience with Onesite or other similar programs 
Must be able to demonstrate support of Westcal Corporate Values
Must demonstrate support and follow strategic drivers
Must demonstrate ability to provide exceptional customer service
Must demonstrate ability to successfully work on a team
Must be able to clearly communicate both orally and in writing on a professional and friendly manner at all times
Must be able to understand and execute directives both orally and in writing
Must have awesome interpersonal skills; ability to get along with diverse personalities; tactful; mature, flexible in any situation, able to shift priorities
Must be able to perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions
Must present a professional image at all times
Must be resourceful and well organized

BA/BS in business, sales or related field, relevant experience or a combination thereof.
